NZNO Regional Councils
NZNO has eleven regional councils and any member can attend regional meetings as an observer. The regional councils are the constitutional building blocks for NZNO's policy development. They manage local finances and affairs, and are responsible for planning NZNO strategy in that area. Regional council members are elected by NZNO members in their workplaces. Each region sends delegates to NZNO's annual conference where NZNO policy is made.
